Art By Mike

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in foster care from the age of nine, bouncing from home to home, the one constant I always had was my art. It became more than just a hobby, it was my safe place, my way to process a world that often felt unpredictable and chaotic.

Along the way, I was even offered the chance to be a youth artist with Disney; an opportunity I let slip by. That experience shaped me, and it’s why I’ve made a promise to myself: I won’t let another opportunity to live through my art pass me by again.

Years of tattooing have sharpened my eye for detail and discipline, giving me skills that transcend the skin and can be applied to any canvas I touch. The years in the tattoo world taught me how to merge precision with creativity, and that balance continues to flow into every piece I create today.

Living on the West Coast has only deepened my inspiration. Surrounded by rugged coastlines, towering trees, and the rich heritage of Native art, I’m constantly reminded of the beauty and stories that shape this land. That influence runs through my work, blending tradition, nature, and modern creativity into something uniquely my own.
For me, art isn’t just something I make; it’s something I live.
Every piece carries a part of my journey, my roots, and my love for the world around me.
