What is & isn’t covered
- Printful does not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse. That means if a customer just changed their mind, ordered the wrong size, colour, etc., Printful typically won’t refund or replace in those cases.
- If the item is damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect (wrong item or wrong design/color) due to Printful’s error, then the customer can request a reprint or refund.
Timeframes & Requirements
- Problems (damaged, defect, etc) usually must be reported within 30 days after delivery.
- Photos or other evidence are typically required to support the claim.
Shipping & Lost / Returned Packages
- If a package is lost in transit, you can generally file a complaint/report with Printful if it hasn’t arrived by a certain time. Loss must be reported (within 30 days of the estimated delivery date).
- If the item is returned due to shipping issues like invalid address, or the carrier couldn’t deliver, Printful sometimes will reship the order. Whether there are extra charges depends on the situation
Refunds vs Reprints
- Printful often offers a reprint (i.e. they remake and resend) rather than refund when it is their fault (damages, misprint).
- Refunds are possible in those faulty/error/damage cases.
